Qualifications:
Mr. Wale Elekolusi has a B.Sc. qualification in Economics, he is a seasoned mass Media practitioner (Virtual Documentation) with public relations knowledge. He is trained in Social Protection and a communication expert in the development sector.
Most Recent Experience and Consultancies
Mr. Elekolusi is a member of the National Task Group on Sanitation, he chairs the WASHMEDIA Network and serves as the National Coordinator of the Journalists Against Poverty. He has worked with The Abuja Inquirer, National Accord and Policy Magazine and served as Communication Consultant to numerous organizations. He is an advocate for women’s rights and was a member of the team that documented the lessons learnt from the project ‘Enhancing Girls Basic Education in Kebbi (EGBEK)2014’.
Donor Relations
He has conducted various donor funded international and national assignments such as representing Nigerian journalists at the IMF Spring meeting on the Sustainable Development Goals in 2019.
