Director of operations and finance
Mr. Onabolu has BSc. and MSc. Degrees in Banking and Finance from the University of Lagos, he is a Harvard University Alumni having received additional training in ‘Building Capacity in Delivering Results’ from the Harvard University Centre of International Development. Mr Onabolu has over two decades of postgraduate experience in finance and banking and has written numerous policies, advocacy and analytical articles/publications as advisories and technical guidance for government, non-governmental and private institutions.

Financial management of the operations of SchoolNet Nigeria funded by private sector organisations such as MTN, TETFUND, Multi-Choice etc. Overseeing the project analysis, financial process review and other financial advisory services, as well as new business development and management of established client relationships. He has provided these services to organisations ranging from Consumer Investments, an Abuja based finance house focusing on funding small and medium scale entrepreneurs; banking industry i.e. First City Monument Bank and IBTC. His previous role as Branch Manager, First City Monument Bank overseeing both operations and finance departments has placed him in good stead to develop standard operating procedures for WASHMATA Initiatives which are in alignment with global standards. Furthermore he has experience with the Investment Banking and Trust Company (IBTC) as the money laundering compliance officer, overseeing the development of money laundering detection and prevention guidelines; this provides Mr Onabolu with substantial practical and hands on knowledge to put in place operating and financing procedures that are compliant with global standards for WASHMATA Initiatives.
Mr. Omotolu has attended capacity building sessions by the development sector such as by the United States Agency for International Development, the additional knowledge acquired has been utilised in best practice financial operating guidelines and oversight for his various clients.
